Each musical is self produced using equity actors under the direction of an exceptional artistic team. During the past few years, new directors and designers have significantly raised the level of production values on stage. Newer musicals are being released to regional theatres gives cause for a whole lot of excitement and fun. There is always something happening at the Carousel.
A season formula was developed calling for one musical review, three new musicals and two favorites per season.
Take a journey that will allow you to visualize your experience at the Carousel. As you enter our property you see a spacious parking lot and park for free. When you enter the theatre, you are greeted and escorted to your table. Make an entrée selection either from our main menu, or for an increased charge, an item for the Producer's menu. Enjoy fresh fish, vegetables and a delicious meal prepared by our certified executive chef. You will also be tempted by a full appetizer and dessert menu. And, if you care for a martini or other drinks, we have full bar service.
Then the curtain rises and it is time to sit back and enjoy a musical equal to any touring production you will see in the area.
Patrons can enjoy Dinner and Show for one low ticket price or take advantage of Show Only Tickets. The entire building is non-smoking.
Groups can be provided with overnight entertainment packages from one to three nights that include Northeast Ohio's finest hotels and popular attractions.
The Carousel location is at 1275 East Waterloo Road in Akron is just off Route 224 and Interstate 77 (only miles from Interstate 76 and the Ohio Turnpike)
