Excellent Evening

The service was over the top. The food was fantastic and I even ordered their chocolate brulee'. I ran into two friends last evening leaving Hudson's (with smiles) and they had been in on a Tues and said the line was out the door. Weds evening was not that crowded (good for me) and our experience was just wonderful. Thank you Jason for being such a wonderful server.

Best kept secret in West Akron

My wife and I decided to stop at Hudson's Restaurant the other night since we had not been there but had heard great things. We absolutely loved everything, the service was outstanding and the food was great! You have to try the House Chips they are Heaven on a Plate, once you start eating them you can't stop, we also had the meatloaf sliders which were out of this world, homemade meatloaf, cheddar cheese, and coleslaw it doesn't get better than that. The server recommended the Pork Chop I was hesitant at first, because I've never had a great Pork Chop at a restaurant, Hudson's was my first. I'm not sure how they do it but the pork chop was cooked perfectly, it was tender, juicy and has me salivating just thinking about it. My wife had the lemon chicken artichoke pasta which was very good as well. The ambiance was great, we sat in a booth and felt as if it was a private booth and we were the only two in the place, some how we forgot that there was a short wait to get in and that the place was busy. If you looking for great service, and great food in West Akron you have to check out Hudson's Restaurant.

Average in every way

You would think that when a restaurant owners have the hubris to put their chef's jackets and culinary school certificates framed on the wall that you are probably in for some creative and well-prepared food, right? Not at Hudson's. This place is average in every way. Beware the Tuesday "2 for $22" special. Portions are very small, but they don't tell you that. You get he impression that your meal will be the regular menu size for a lower price. I won't be returning. Chain restaurants in the area offer better food for lower prices.

Got there at 5:30 pm and left at 7:50 pm WITHOUT having eaten!Few people waiting in the lobby, yet the wait was close to an hour. Then our server was very SLOW and UNKNOWLEDGEABLE. Could not answer basic questions about the menu, beer specials, etc. Took forever to get extra dressing, more napkins, drink refills, etc. Finished our salads, then (NOT KIDDING!) waited an additional 45 min to get our entrees. Bit into my burger and it was BRIGHT RED! The manager brought out a new burger, but by this time it was past my kids' bedtime and I had to box it up and take home. Imagine how horrible it was to be driving home 2 plus hours later STARVING! What an AWFUL end to a Friday evening out sitting in my kitchen at home eating my burger.Spread the word! Save yourself and your friends from this horrendous establishment.

Love this new Montrose Restaurant!

Unlike the other reviewer, I enjoyed my dining experience at the new Hudson's restaurant. I had the loaded house chips. Wow! So good, I'm craving them right now. And the chopped salad with the orange mimosa vinaigrette was a great combination. Will be back to try the rest of their menu.

Hudson's Restaurant in Copley

Would not recommend this restaurant. They had 3 bartenders and only 1 person sitting at the bar, yet it took 15 minutes to get a drink to a table beside the bar! The petite filet mignon had gristle in it, and I've never experienced that before. Will not go back and will tell others of the bad experience as well.
