Once upon a time, 'Stop 97' was the last trolley stop in Akron, and the Old 97 was ready with a drink and a seat to welcome travelers, right across the street. Today, with a completely renovated interior and a trendy new cocktail menu, we're ready to be a stop on your journey again! We're featuring cocktails like The Southern Peach, Pearls Before Swine, The Fleur de Lis, and a housemade Sangria that has everyone asking for more! If you're feeling less adventurous, our full bar can easily supply all the old classics, and for the beer drinkers, we offer a daily selection of interesting local and seasonal brews.
You won't find another bar quite like us no matter how far you travel, and believe me, the drinks and atmosphere are worth checking out. Where else can you listen to jazz music, watch classic movies on the bar TV, relax in our warm, candle-lit lounge, and sample drinks invented specially for you?

Yes, the Old 97 is open for business again! No, it's not the same old bar it used to be! Hand-mixed cocktails and fresh, homemade food, make for a classy night on the town in our homey pub. What a wonderful place I would encourage every one to try it. The Staff is phenomenal, what service and attention to detail. Have a grate glass of wine or a specialty cocktail. Appetizers are out of this world. This place is the Jewel of Kenmore.
My only question would be. Who is this MOSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you step inside, you will be delighted with your new find. The name and location are absolutely deceiving. Bring your friends or office buddies to this incredibly tasteful "not what you thought it was" joint in a "not where you thought it should be" location. Yes, it is a little bit of a drive but well worth it! Tasteful selection of craft/import beers, great atmosphere, wonderful service. The appetizers were good. Soft jazz and tasteful calypso music. A find! Look for it next time you are out and about! It is well worth the effort.
