My husband and I are local to this area and frequent many of the finer restaurants in the area. We have given this place several chances but they cannot get a steak right. We have visited this restaurant at least 5 times and our steaks have never been cooked to order. It is a shame because the quality of meat is good and the seasoning is exceptional, but if the steak can't be cooked to order it is not worth it. In the past visits, management has always taken care of us when our food was not correct, but on our last visit this evening both of our steaks were not cooked properly, they forgot our mushroom order and management didn't want to do anything for us. After complaining when we got our bill, we were given a $11 credit on our bill for 2 $30+ steaks being cooked incorrectly. That doesn't even cover 1 of the steaks let alone both and the inconvenience of waiting for our mushrooms to go with our steak. We will not be visiting this restaurant in the future and do not recommend it to anyone. It is overpriced and lacks consistency.
Had dinner at Lucia's on Sat. evening. There were five of us who had all heard good things. We had a very nice waiter, with excellent knowledge of the menu. It was too bad that we never saw him again after he brought out out tiny little portions. To be fair, the tiny little steaks were flavorful, unlike the peppers and pasta that were ordered as side dishes. Our glasses remained empty the entire meal and when the bill came, we were just glad to settle up and get out of there. We will not be going back.
A group of us visited Lucia's on May 20 for dinner. It was our first visit to the new place and we were very pleased to see Rob Johns teaming up with Faithe Anne.
Our food (variety of pasta, steaks, and prime rib) was excellent. Our server had an appropriately quirky sense of humor. The mousse amaretto dessert was outstanding.
We'll be back -- soon!!
