Ouroboros: The Nun's Tale

The play (or is it two plays?) is a love story involving the repeatedly intersecting spiritual quests of two American couples—each traveling through time in the opposite direction—to be performed in either of two chronological sequences . It follows two unrelated couples, visiting five Italian cities, who are trapped in a hellish collision of fate as they live out crossreferenced realities. This mixture of déjà vu and shocking Twilight Zonelike inevitability results in a fivescene time continuum that can be performed in either order. One way (Ouroboros: A Nun's Tale) it's a comedy (in that it ends happily), the other way (Ouroboros: A Priest's Tale), a tragedy. "Seen together or alone, this is a thoughtprovoking pair of hits!" BackStage West. There will be an extra weekend in the run, i.e. it'll be a 6wk, 16performance run with the play being performed 8 times in each order.
