From moments of extraordinary movement to profound insight, Bill T. Jones' newest work, Fondly Do We Hope .. Fervently Do We Pray, examines the legacy of Abraham Lincoln.

Jones' evening-length piece is inspired by the life of Lincoln, celebrating the slain president's 2009 bicentennial. It explores the choreographer's view of Lincoln while growing up during the civil rights struggle of the 60s.
