Horrible Experience

I have gone to this place two times now unfortunately and the experience couldn't have been any worse than it was. The bar tenders and bouncers were extremely rude. From the second you enter this dump you feel that you are not welcome and to make it worse the drinks are watered down and expensive. The first time I went to this bar two of my friends were kicked out, and when they asked what the reason was a bouncer grabbed him by the back of the shirt and threw him to the ground outside the front door (we weren't even drunk or being rude). To this day we can't figure out what the problem was.
The second Time I went because a girl I knew wanted to go so I figure what the hell, I will try anything a couple times. Well the second I get there my ID gets questioned by a very rude balled middle aged bouncer who caused a scene even after I gave him a second ID. After finally being let in We proceed to go upstairs and get drinks and I actually have a good time for about an hour. I met a fried who I hadn't seen in forever and we go downstairs to smoke but before we make it down the stairs a bouncer yells at my friend for having an unlit cig. in his mouth so he gets shoved down the remainder of the stairs by the black bouncer. I will never return to this Dive after seeing how they treat people. Sorry this was so long this was but I hope anyone who reads this understands how bad this place really is now.

Bad service, employees, and management

Water Street Tavern (formally known as "Glory Days", which had changed their name to change their image, as "Glory Days" was well known for bad service, rude employees, and an overall bad experience), hasn't changed anything but their name.

Completely over-rated. You'd be way better off visiting ANY OTHER BAR in Kent. Within 2 minutes of this dive, you can visit other pubs such as The Venice Cafe (great staff, atmosphere, and drink specials), The Zephyr (the most popular hang out for locals and KSU students alike), BW3's (awesome patio, wings, enough said), and Ray's Place (famous for being a frequent hang out for occasionally-visiting celebrity Drew Carey, the KSU alum).

Water Street Tavern, locally, is known honestly for being a dump. Trust me, don't waste your time, especially when Kent Ohio has so much to offer otherwise.
